Gregory Garrett is a Philadelphia-based performance coach, entrepreneur, and author who has spent 19 years doing what most coaches only talk about: developing athletes no one believed in yet.
Greg founded Level 40 Performance Center in 2006 in the Philadelphia metropolitan area — building an elite training program from scratch, with no institutional backing, no corporate sponsor, and no national name recognition. What he had was a system, an eye for talent, and an uncompromising standard that would eventually produce results that speak for themselves.
Over 20 years, Greg has trained 66 professional athletes across the NFL, NBA, WNBA, and professional boxing — including 17 first-round draft picks, 5 Super Bowl champions, 5 NBA and WNBA champions, and 34 athletes currently active at the professional level. His alumni include Micah Parsons (Dallas Cowboys — Defensive Rookie of the Year, 3x Pro Bowl), Darius Slay (Philadelphia Eagles — 6x Pro Bowl, 1x All-Pro), Kyle Lowry (NBA Champion, 6x All-Star), Danny Garcia (WBC and WBA World Champion), Brandon Graham (Super Bowl LII Champion), Kyle Pitts, Odafe Oweh, Cam Reddish, and Natasha Cloud, among many others.
Greg's training philosophy is built on precision, accountability, and the core belief that the gap between a good athlete and a professional is almost never about raw talent. It is about preparation, environment, and access to the right system at the right time. He has been that system for two decades.
He created Philadelphia's first-ever National Signing Day event, elevating young athletes from underrepresented communities into spotlight moments typically reserved for elite national programs. He has partnered with Nike Football Camps, Army All-American Camp, FBU Camps, and national combine preparation programs. His work has been featured on ESPN, NFL Network, HBO Sports, and Showtime.
In 2026, Greg published his first book — "How to Train Like a First Rounder" — the first time his methodology has ever been committed to print. He also hosts The Grind 24/7, a podcast covering elite performance with the athletes and coaches who know it best.
Greg is married and has children. Outside of training, he is deeply involved in the Philadelphia community, focused on youth athlete development and creating pathways for young people from underserved areas to reach their professional potential. He is an active member of the Philadelphia sports community and a recognized voice in athlete preparation at the national level.
Greg Garrett is available for media interviews, speaking engagements, coaching clinics, and corporate performance workshops — in-person in the Philadelphia area or via satellite / remote connection nationwide.
